Springdale - Vine/Lincoln Hts ($2.00 fare)Īccess is a shared-ride public transportation service, providing origin-to-destination transportation in small buses for people whose disabilities prevent them from riding Metro buses. Maybe have sone sort of faction system where your actions and choices affect which faction gets to "own" which station and where you can become friendly with certain factions while alienating others (similar to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. There could even be a new faction like an actual occupation force entering the Metro and - depending on your choices / karma - the inhabitants of the Metro may or may not unite against this common new threat. Maybe a more open world Moscow could compensate that, with travelling and multiple sidequests from station to station. I like the idea of going back to Moscow, though, since there are still stories to tell (the war between the Reds and Nazis, how the "discovery" of the radio shield will affect life in the metro, Hansa and the rest of the Rangers reacting, maybe even have Hunter returning.), but people would probably complain gameplay-wise when things get linear again. I never cared too much for Exodus' settlements and the people living there either, it's more like a quick stop and then moving on to the next rollercoaster ride. It starts so fast, throwing many established plot points and characters like the Dark Ones or Khan out of the window within the first hour or so that it's almost like a soft reboot. At least Exodus tried to shove a big amount of 2035's plot points into the beginning of the game, but if there was another book AND another game, both would be vastly different in terms of story, tone and setting.Īnyways, I'd have loved the 3rd game to be more like 2035 and more in-depth and Exodus being the 4th game. ![]() Which would be a huge departure from the books, though. They could go back to Moscow and continue on from ''the war'' segment seeing as how in Exodus they didn't really show that well. They could continue the story of Artyom and how he leads the people now since Miller gave him that power before he died. ![]() What actually really bothers me was that the part with "the war still going on" was thrown outside the window so quickly in Exodus, while there was such great potential with actually showing that war. no need for a sequel with another 4 season themed maps. Originally posted by zombie-flesheater:For what it's worth, I think Artyom's story is finished for good in both games and books.Ī different Metro or perhaps even some sort of prequel outside of Moscow, yeah, that could work.īut returning to the same Moscow Metro after Exodus feels like a step back again (even though I don't mind the linear gameplay).Ĭontinuing with Exodus' semi opem world structure would just be Exodus 2.0 and I think Exodus already showed all relevant locations and setpieces anyways, i.
